Any ideas for a new class book?
Ideally it should be one that would be enjoyable for the majority of the class, and not too long (<300 pages is best)

p.s. This book is too long, Twig. It would take us the rest of the year and part of next. Don't even try it! ;P

Small Steps-it's really good and it's the next book after holes. It's by Lois Sachar
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Key to Rondo, Nicole. I'll have a peek.
ReplyDeleteSmall Steps isn't bad, Iz, but what about for those who haven't read Holes? Although I think most of the class have...
Do you think they need to know about Holes to enjoy it? I guess they aren't that closely related.
books by paul jennings are good and they are not that long or maybe an enid blyton book.
ReplyDeletePaul Jennings books are good -like kallista said and also:roald dahl and many more books.....

ReplyDeleteOHHH, i was going to suggest TWILIGHT!!!!!:[
ReplyDeleteWhat about BREAKING DAWN!!!!!!:]
Keziah, i think he means ANYTHING to do with twilight. anyway, not all of us are into super pale guys falling in love with not as pale girls.
ReplyDeletethe warrior cats series is good too. I could lend you the singen poo book if you wanted me too.
ReplyDeleteIzzy, the girl was quite pale too. The Twilight books have a good sun safety message, I guess...
ReplyDeleteKallista, do you have the first warrior cat book for me to have a look at?
Well we could read one more of the dimond brothers books
ReplyDeleteI definitely like the Diamond Bros books, Jimmy. I don't intend to read any more to the class - but you can always check out the other titles in your own reading time. Go for it!
ReplyDeleteNew class book has been selected. I hope that the majority of you will enjoy Small Steps. Thank you to everyone who made a suggestion. You may collect an extra house point.
